Othman Atta

Othman M. Atta is currently the Executive Director of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, the largest Muslim organization in Wisconsin. In that role, he oversees three Masajid as well as a full-time school on two (soon to be three!) campuses with over 1,500 students. Othman Atta worked as an attorney in private law practice for over twenty years, and he served as an Advisory Board Member for Marquette University Law School. During his time in practice, he was awarded the ACLU “Civil Libertarian of the Year Award” and the Wisconsin Law Journal’s “Leader in the Law Award”. Othman Atta has a passion for teaching on topics related to Palestine, Palestinian and Middle Eastern history and politics, as well as multiple topics related to Islam and the Muslim community.
